Adobe has released version 15.0.0.152 of Flash Player for Windows and Mac, which addresses a total of 12 security vulnerabilities, most of which are memory-related .

One of the bugs allows an attacker to exploit memory leak vulnerabilities that could be exploited to bypass address space layout randomization (ASLR).

More than half of the vulnerabilities patched in the latest version of Flash Player have been revealed by Chris Evans, head of Google's recent Project Zero.

Chrome and Internet Explorer 10 and 11 users will automatically receive the 15.0.0.152 update via browser updates.

On Windows and Mac, the update can be applied manually from the Adobe website, or automatically, through the product's built-in update mechanism.

The latest version for Linux is 11.2.202.406 and can be downloaded from the developer's download center.

New releases for Adobe Acrobat and Reader have been rescheduled for September 15th.
