Microsoft China accidentally reveals a first teaser of… Windows 9 in a post on Weibo
The new version of Microsoft's operating system comes with several changes, with the company asking the public in the post it published: "what is your opinion on restoring the start menu?"
The post, which included a Windows 9 logo, was soon removed, meaning it was posted… by mistake!
It is certainly another indication that Windows 9 is coming soon. Rumors have it that its announcement event will take place on September 30th , as we have previously written, with the first preview being given to developers on the same day or shortly thereafter.
The next version of Windows is expected to offer developers a first look at the new mini Start Menu that Microsoft is preparing, along with the removal of the Charm bar, as well as other changes to the operating system's User Interface. Some even claim that Microsoft is working on a version with an early version of the voice assistant Cortana, but it is not clear whether this feature will be available in the first preview of "Threshold".
