WhatsApp developers have just released a new version of the instant messaging app, but for now it is only available for download through its official website.
Until the app is uploaded to the Google Play Store, it remains available as a beta, which means that those who wish to install it manually may encounter errors, but that doesn't mean it will definitely happen.
The latest update for WhatsApp Messenger, beta or not, brings support for Android Wear, meaning that if you have one of the new Android watches on your wrist, you'll be able to reply to messages through that device.
You can also reply with a voice message or choose a predefined response that is already included in the updated version (“Yes”, “No”, “Haha”). As mentioned earlier, the latest version of WhatsApp Messenger is not yet available for download from the Google Play Store.
However, those who wish to take advantage of the new support for AndroidWear can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.322 for free from the app's official website.
Make sure you have “Unknown sources” enabled to allow the installation of applications from sources other than the Google Play Store.
