Microsoft announced that a new level of encryption has been added to its OneDrive cloud storage service, as well as its Outlook.com email service .
OneDrive hasadded support for Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) encryption, which is available on the OneDrive.com website, as well as in the mobile applications , as well as in other synchronization clients.
As for Outlook.com, PFS along with Transport Layer Security (TLS).
Microsoft explains that when a user sends an email, it will be encrypted and therefore better protected during its journey to other email service providers.
The company pointed out that adding the new layer of security for files will make it more difficult for third parties who want to decrypt connections between systems and OneDrive.
