Windows Phone is currently one of the top three mobile phone platforms in the world in terms of market share, but manufacturers are still hesitant when it comes to releasing apps and games on Microsoft's mobile operating system.
Some of the most popular apps already available on Android and iOS still have a long way to go before they reach Windows Phone.
One of the many social apps that wasn't available on Windows Phone is Pinterest, which has just been released in the Windows Phone Store. The thing is, the developers have only launched the beta version of the app, which will be improved based on user feedback.
The beta version of Pinterest seems to come with limited functionality, but we're sure the developers will add new features and improvements in the next couple of weeks.
For now, Windows Phone users will be able to take advantage of Pinterest's capabilities when planning home renovations, car restorations, garden redesigns, and other DIYs.
Plus, you'll be able to "pin" their outdoor adventures, road trips with friends, family outings, and exotic vacations.
You can now download Pinerest for Windows Phone 1.0.0.0 for free via the Windows Phone Store. Please note that the app should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8 and above.
The developers have not yet confirmed exactly when the final version of Pinterest, but we expect more information in the coming weeks.
