Lia Komninou assumed the position of public relations director for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, with responsibility for 33 countries
Lia Komninou is taking on expanded duties, taking over Microsoft's public relations department for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
In her new role, Lia Komninou will oversee Microsoft's corporate and product communications in the 33 countries under her responsibility, as well as relations with the media in Central and Eastern Europe, with the aim of conveying the correct image of the company and establishing legitimate perceptions about Microsoft's mission and actions, both among the general public and in the business world.
Lia Komninou joined Microsoft Greece in 2005, taking over the management of various communications departments of the company, both as marketing communications manager and as director of public relations and corporate social responsibility, in recent years.
The position of director of public relations and corporate social responsibility at Microsoft Greece is taken on by Timos Platsas, currently responsible for marketing and public relations for the Xbox and PC Hardware product categories.
