Avira announced the release of a new version of the antivirus application for Android devices, which replaces Avira 3.0, which was available for download via Google Play.
The latest version of Avira has been completely redesigned and brings new, improved features. The new updates will now be delivered in xVDF format and the virus detection coverage has been dramatically improved. The application will perform an automatic scan after the initial installation.
Additionally, the Remote Scream feature has been renamed to Remote Yell, while the blacklist feature has been simplified.
You can now download the new version of Avira for Android 3.1 for free via Google Play. The application is fully compatible with most devices running Android 2.2 or later.
