The world's youngest billionaire is already worth $26 billion
Mark Zuckerberg's already huge fortune now stands at $26 billion, as the young founder of Facebook made a total of $780 million in one day, according to Bloomberg estimates.
As expected, the majority of Zuckerberg's income comes from the popular social network that established him in the global technology world.
The world's youngest billionaire and Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2010 now only owns 22% of the social network that "launched" him, but that seems to be enough for him, as Facebook generated $5.1 billion in revenue in 2012.
After selling his Facebook shares in May 2012, the genius Mark married his beloved Priscilla Chan, securing a living for the rest of his life, as his remaining assets amount to $1.4 billion.
The 29-year-old Zuckerberg's inclination towards technology and innovation was evident from a very young age, as when he was still in high school he created a messaging platform, which he called Zucknet, to communicate with his family, while as soon as he graduated he accepted jobs at giant companies such as AOL and Microsoft, which he even rejected.
