The four officially confirmed games for September 2026 on Xbox Game Pass are: Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault on September 2, SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed on September 3, Dune: Awakening on September 22, and Minecraft Dungeons II on September 29. However, additional titles are expected to be announced through the two typical "waves" of announcements that Microsoft publishes each month.
Furthermore, we already know from previous Microsoft announcements that Screenbound is coming on September 10th and RuneScape: Dragonwilds on September 15th, while Shelldiver opens the month as early as September 1st. Dune: Awakening — The Protagonist on September 22
Dune : Awakening originally arrived on PC via Steam in June 2025 and stood out as one of the biggest releases of the summer. It's an open-world survival game set in Frank Herbert's universe, where the player explores the planet Arrakis, teams up with various factions, and can engage in PvP (Player versus Player) battles with other players for control of Spice.
