The validity of IT certificates is extended until June 30th

The Ministry of Administrative Reform, through its circular, announces that the validity of IT certificates is extended until 30-6-2014. In more detail, the document states the following:

Following the above circular of our service and with regard to the bodies approved by the OEEK for granting IT certificates, which prove knowledge of IT or computer handling as an additional qualification for appointment or recruitment in the Public Service (regarding art. 26 par. 6 par. (ii) of P.D. 50/2001, as amended and in force), we inform you of the following:

A. With the No. 91/05-12-2013 (ADA: ΒΛΓΠΡΟΡΙΛ-7Ξ) Decision of the Board of Directors of the National Organization for Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP), the validity of the certificates of the following bodies was extended:

– ECDL Greece SA,

– VELLUM GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES SA,

– INFOTEST and

– ICT Hellas SA,

which were issued, under their old name, until the date of their certification by the OEEK (and were extended until 31-12-2013), for six (6) additional months, i.e. until 30-06-2014.

Specifically, the above certificates, under their old name, are the following:

– ECDL from the company ECDL – GREEK COMPUTER SOCIETY – EΠY,

– Cambridge International Examinations by UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE (company

Vellum Global Educational Services),

– IC3 and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) from CERTIPORT (Microsoft) (company

INFOTEST, formerly TECHNOPLUS) and

– BTEC in ICT or Online Award in ICT from LONDON LEARNING (ICT Hellas company)

S.A.).

B. Also, with the aforementioned Decision of the Board of Directors of EOPPEP, the validity of the certificates of the following entities was extended until 30-06-2014:

– ECDL Hellas SA (Certification Document No. C/2619/3-2-06),

– VELLUM GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES SA (Certification Act No.

C/4516/23-2-06),

– INFOTEST (Certification Act No. C/4517/23-2-06),

– ICT Hellas AE (Certification Act No. C/4518/23-2-06) and already ICT Europe

(Renaming Act No. C/18897/18-7-07),

– KEY-CERT (Certification Document No. C/8931/11-4-06),

– ACTA AE (Certification Act No. C/12017/18-5-06),

– I-SKILLS SA (Act No. C/22735/14-9-07)

– TELEFOS TRAINING LTD (Certification Act No. C/30921/18-12-07) and already

– TELEFOS CERT LTD (Renaming Act No. C/12485/21-5-09) and

– DIPLOMA – Human Resources Certification Body (Certification Act

No. C/24869/30-9-09), which were issued after the date of their certification by the OEEK until 31-12-2011.

C. Finally, with the same above-mentioned act, the validity of the certificates issued up to 31-12-2008 by the OEEK was extended until 30-06-2014.
