Microsoft has now put an end to the Windows 7 retail craze , saying it officially ended last October.
The company said that retail sales of the software ended on October 30, 2013, and that sales of PCs with Windows 7 preinstalled will continue until further notice.
While this move was clearly made to push users to upgrade the operating system, many are not happy with it.
At this point, we should emphasize that Windows 7 is the number one operating system in the world, with a market share of over 45%.
