Users who want to continue using the Modern UI of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 don't have many options when it comes to a powerful browser, because Internet Explorer is the only powerful tool that works in the Metro environment.
Security company Trend Micro has created its own browser called SafeSurfing, which is supposed to keep users completely safe when loading web pages in the Modern UI.
Trend Micro's SafeSurfing application is available for free and works on all versions of Windows 8 that have been released on the market, so you can install it on desktops and tablets.
