It's only been up for two weeks and already has over 50,000 members. We're talking about Carrot Dating, the new website that promises to find you a partner, with one difference: you'll have to bribe your potential date.
According to digitallife, either through the Carrot Dating website or through the application for your mobile device, you log in to the platform, select the girls/boys you would be interested in dating and then choose the "carrot" with which you will bribe them to go out with you: dinner, chocolate, and more.
It's an honest exchange. I'll go out with you if you buy me dinner. It may sound sexist, but as the website's creator, Brandon Wade, an MIT graduate, argues, most "love" starts as an exchange of favors.
Also inspired by him are Seeking Millionaire (for women looking for a partner with a big wallet), Seeking Arrangement (for girls looking for a bigger "financier" and, respectively, prospective "financiers" looking to take care of younger women in exchange) and WhatsYourPrice (where you bid to go on a date with someone).
