So far, Rockstar has been tight-lipped about porting Grand Theft Auto V from consoles to PC, even though for some its development is a possibility rather than a certainty.
The impatience and ignorance of those who fervently desire to enjoy the game on their computer have been exploited by cunning people.
The scam 's masterminds released malicious code that they "disguised" as a torrent of a purported PC version of the game, titled " GTA V for PC ."
The file is 18GB , making the scam even more realistic, since as we know, GTA V is a large game.
Unfortunately, for those who proceed to download the game without realizing the risk of the file in question, they may have infected their computer with dangerous malware.
It is noteworthy that during most of the "game" installation process, everything seems normal, until a registration code is requested on a page that leads to online surveys and not, of course, to the non-existent game.
For now, the torrent is not marked as a "fake" file and is quite high in file traffic on some search engines.
So be careful! GTA V not yet been released for PC…
