36% of 1,067 Twitter users no longer use it, while 7% say they have closed their account – As for users who closed their Facebook account, the percentage is only 5%
Twitter seems to be losing its "power".
After the frenzy it brought to the world of social media, the social networking site is starting to lose its users, according to an Ipsos poll, published by the Reuters agency.
Specifically, according to the results of the survey, 36% of the 1,067 Twitter users no longer use it, while 7% say they have closed their account.
On the other hand, Facebook remains popular, since only 7% of its 2,449 members (who participated in the poll) said they no longer use the networking medium, while as for users who closed their accounts, the percentage is only 5%.
The lack of friends and the difficulty in using it are some of the reasons why users of the social networking site decided to put it aside for a while or say goodbye to it forever.
