Reports indicate that Apple stores are running out of stock of the iPhone 16e and iPad Air models as the company prepares to launch new versions of these devices, which are expected to be released in the coming weeks.

In a post on X (Twitter), Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurmanreported that iPhone 16e models are "essentially sold out" of stock, while the iPad Air is also facing shortages, according to information provided to him by his contacts at Apple stores.

Just last weekend, Gurman reported that the iPhone 17e is set to launch “immediately” with four new features, including the A19 processor, MagSafe connectivity, Apple’s new C1X cellular modem, and the N1 chip for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Thread connectivity. The device is expected to retain the same starting price of $599 as its predecessor.

Gurman also said that Apple is planning to release a new iPad 12 model and a new iPad Air in the near future. Both devices are not expected to have design changes or significant improvements, but they will feature new processors. The 12th generation iPad will feature the A18 processor, while the 8th generation iPad Air will feature the M4 processor.
