As if the data it collects about our activity weren't enough, from now on Facebook will inform all major American television networks (ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS) in detail about the popularity of the series they broadcast based on likes, shares and comments.
As Facebook announced, the reports will be weekly and all data will be anonymous. The only thing that will be sent is the final data count, i.e. the total number of posts, likes and comments that each program collected.
It seems that the popular social network aspires to gain market share from Twitter, which undoubtedly holds the lead in live commentary on television programs and events.
