Professionals of the genre "hit" surgically
A major operation, some describing it as perhaps the largest ever on the Greek internet, was launched yesterday afternoon. After 7:00 PM, several news websites became targets of hackers.
According to a report by newsbeast.gr, this type of attack is not carried out by "amateurs of the genre", but by excellent experts in the subject, who operate outside of Greece.
This attack lasted about an hour and a half and according to his report it did not last longer because... it was costly.
Our information indicates that in order for this to happen, some people paid the group that undertook the internet attack an amount that is likely unrealistic for such an event.
In fact, the head of the Cybercrime Investigation Unit, Manolis Sfakianakis, was also informed about the cyberattack.
