Microsoft claims that the Microsoft Edge browser has improved its performance and speed by up to 9% since the release of version 134.

Thanks to these changes, the new Edge version 134 is now up to 9% faster compared to older versions. The faster speed is thanks to the Speedometer 3.0 tool that simulates real-world web usage .

The browser launches faster and also switches between web pages faster. According to the company's data:
- Startup is 2% faster
- Page navigation is 1.7% faster
This means less waiting when opening Edge or clicking links. Edge responds more quickly when users interact with websites, such as clicking buttons, scrolling, or typing.
There is a 5% to 7% improvement in how pages respond.
