A ransomware attack has hit the records system of a hospital in Bainbridge, Memorial Hospital and Manor announced in a Facebook post .
According to the post, the attack affects the hospital's Electronic Health Record system, raising concerns about data security and the quality of patient care.

The hospital management stressed that it believes this issue will not affect the level or quality of care they provide to their patients, but they want to maintain full transparency about the situation. The attack was detected early Saturday morning when employees received alerts from their antivirus software about potential risks
Immediately after the incident was discovered, management launched an internal investigation and is working to find solutions. In this context, the hospital said it is evaluating the rehabilitation and recovery methods it will follow.
