MacPaw has released a new redesigned version of CleanMyMac, the popular Mac computer optimization and maintenance software. The updated version introduces a new interface and new features for more efficient Mac care.
The new CleanMyMac now features six main modules and more than 25 tools to help with various maintenance tasks. There’s a new assistant that provides reports on the “health” and security of your Mac and displays maintenance reminders. There’s also an updated My Clutter module that helps users manage storage space by identifying large, old, and duplicate files.

Other changes include grouped application permissions in the Protection module for easier privacy management. Finally, the redesigned menu bar utility improves system monitoring and resource usage.
“This update is not just about a new look – it gives users the tools they need to effortlessly take care of their Macs,” said MacPaw CEO Oleksandr Kosovan. “We’re combining smart technology with a more intuitive design, laying the foundation for better security, faster performance, and a cleaner experience.”

The new CleanMyMac starts at $39.95 per year. A one-time purchase costs $119.95 (prices may vary by region). Existing CleanMyMac and Setapp will receive the upgrade for free, while previous one-time license holders can upgrade for up to 50% off.
MacPaw plans to add more features next year. The company is also developing an enterprise version of CleanMyMac.
The new version requires macOS 11 or later and a minimum screen of 1280×800 pixels. CleanMyMac can be purchased from the MacPaw website, the Mac App Store, or through the Setapp subscription service.
