Virtual meetings have become increasingly common in recent years. What Microsoft Teams (and services like it) aims to do is make it possible to have a meeting, no matter where you are or what you're doing, which means there are many ways to join and a variety of devices you can use. Here are four different methods for how to join a Microsoft Teams meeting.
Join with a link
A friend or colleague can add you to a Teams meeting whether you have a Microsoft account or not. When you're invited, you'll receive an email with a link to the call.

Join with a meeting ID
If you don't want to join the meeting on the same device you have your email open on, you can enter the meeting ID and password on any device you want. Simply go to the Microsoft Teams website and enter your ID and password .

Join via the Teams app
If you have Microsoft Teams installed on your desktop or mobile , there are several ways to join a meeting.
First, when the organizer invites you, you'll receive a notification that you can accept to join the meeting. You can also join an existing scheduled call from the Calendar of the Teams app.

Audio-only participation
If you don't have a reliable internet or the right device to join a video call, you can simply listen to the audio of a Microsoft Teams meeting from your phone. Your invitation email will have the call option listed along with the number to dial. Simply dial the number and connect, although additional charges may apply, so check with your phone provider before doing so.
