Lufthansa in collaboration with Meta announced that they will provide the Quest 3 headset to business class passengers on selected flights starting this summer.
The program, which is being described as a “pilot,” will allow passengers on “selected flights” to enjoy Lufthansa’s new “Allegris” Business Class this summer, offering a Quest 3 headset with an optimized launcher, pre-installed with certain apps.

These specific applications have not yet been subjected to detailed analysis, however, according to Meta, they are going to offer the following:
• Unique cinematic experience, choosing from carefully selected movies and TV series.
• Top travel podcasters tell their stories, allowing you to experience them as they unfold through impressive videos and curated content in 360-degree videos.
• Explore travel destinations through stunning panoramic images and virtual sightseeing tours, before you even arrive at your destination.
• Interactive games, such as Connect Four and Chess.
• Relaxation with active meditation exercises or enjoying a passive experience with inactivity methods.

Meta will release the pilot version of the feature for Quest 2 and Quest 3, allowing for accurate location tracking even inside airplanes.
