The official release date for V Rising has finally been confirmed, as Steam 's massive vampire survival game prepares to leave Early Access after two years.

The full release date, marking the arrival of version 1.0 of Stunlock Studios, is finally here. After two years in Steam Early Access, a slew of updates, testing, tweaks, and complete makeovers, one of the most eagerly anticipated games on Valve’s entire platform is finally here – and it’s coming soon. The long wait is almost over.

V Rising first arrived in May 2022, and since then it's gone through "a dozen" updates, tests, tweaks, and complete transformations to make it one of the most popular survival and vampire games in Early Access. Between the Founders Pack, Dracula's Relic Pack, and the Sinister Evolution Pack, the developers at Stunlock have certainly kept the blood flowing for the past two years. But now they're ready to bring V Rising out of the shadows for good.

The full release date for V Rising is set for Wednesday, May 8th. As for any changes or further expansions, or any other additions we might see when the game launches in version 1.0, you can be sure that there are plenty of thrills and gore ahead.
