In addition to the ability to manage one of the existing 10 real-life Formula 1 teams, F1 Manager 2024 will introduce a “Team Creation” mode, where players will have full creative control over the team, as well as the ability to negotiate sponsorship deals and identify new talent. This is a significant change from last year, when the developers told RACER that it was not a feature they planned to bring to the game, while EA Sports ’ F1 series has had a similar feature in the game since 2020.
The game will also introduce a new mindset system, which emphasizes the personalities and demands of drivers and staff, as players seek the perfect balance as they strive for success with their team. Other teams can also borrow staff or drivers, making this new addition crucial to the experience. Players can continue to influence the races, but now with what the publishers call “new strategic perspectives,” while improved artificial intelligence will increase the overall challenge.

And following last year’s successful introduction, the Match Replay feature will return, allowing players to relive real-life scenarios from the 2024 season, exert their influence, and make history in the virtual world. Frontier Developments will also reveal more information in the coming weeks and months with regular Wednesday livestreams.
No release date has been announced for F1 Manager 2024 yet, but it will be available this summer for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One with a suggested retail price of $34.99.
