CEO Elon Musksays the company plans to unveil the new Roadster this year, and is also working with SpaceX to make the electric supercar even more special.
However, production of the vehicle is once again delayed. The new Roadster was originally revealed in 2017.
It is an electric supercar, which Tesla wanted to use to bring more prestige to the company and show that the best car in the world could be electric.

The company wanted to release the Tesla Roadster in 2020, but, unfortunately, it didn't make it.
More recently, Elon Musk had said that production would begin in 2024.
With a new post on X, the billionaire indicated that we may finally be getting closer to production and release. He mentioned that Tesla has “increased the design goals for the new Tesla Roadster” and that there is no other car like it.
Tesla's CEO added that production will likely begin next year, but its unveiling is scheduled for the end of this year.
Musk also answered some user questions and reiterated that the Tesla Roadster is a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX.

In the past, the billionaire had said that the Roadster would come with an optional “SpaceX package,” which would consist of 10 cold air thrusters that would help the car accelerate and move or even jump.
The CEO hinted today that this is still in the works. He also said that Tesla is aiming for 0-60 mph acceleration in under a second, but said that would be “ the least interesting part ” of the new Roadster.
With his new post, Musk wanted to bring the Tesla Roadster back into the spotlight but didn't give many details, other than that it will be amazing and that there will be another delay in its release.
