With bills continuing to rise and households facing increased financial strain, it’s no surprise that consumers are looking for ways to reduce their monthly expenses. The UK's Copyright Enforcement Agency (FACT UK) has confirmed that it has begun sending cease and desist letters and even showing up at the doorsteps of consumers suspected of watching content, films and sports without paying.
FACT reports that it uses its partnership with Crimestoppers to help increase the number of people caught watching illegal content.
