OnePlus conducted a proprietary survey which concluded that consumers are feeling frustrated with the charging times of their devices.

Today, OnePlus revealed the results of its survey conducted by The NDP Group of 1,000 U.S. respondents who purchased a smartphone in the past 12 months. The survey findings reveal how frustrated consumers are with their phones’ charging times and the feeling of having to charge their devices more than once a day.
OnePlus found that 69% of respondents reported charging phones at least twice a day.

Charging your phone overnight is usually the time of day most people do it.
In terms of location, 93% of survey respondents said they charge their phone at home. Additionally, 15% reported charging during an activity ,14% will charge while at school, and only 8% will charge phone during a flight.

Additionally, 88% of consumers chose a wired charger as their power source, with 46% choosing a car charger, 28% picking up a wireless charger, and 19% reporting using a power bank.
The big key here is that 97% of the 1,000 respondents to the survey admitted they were interested in a phone that charges in under 20 minutes. Here, the Chinese OEM is hoping the OnePlus 10T will make its voice heard because of the SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition 125W wired charger in North America, which can boost the phone from 1% to 100% in just twenty minutes.
