New DJI Mini 4 Pro leaked. Photos of a retail box of the DJI Mini 4 Pro have leaked online, revealing the retail box it will come in as well as the drone's specifications.
DJI Mini 4 Pro vs. Mini 3 Pro
The upcoming Mini 4 Pro is expected to continue DJI’s tradition of redefining what a drone . Specifically, it is expected to provide omnidirectional obstacle detection to the hugely popular Mini series. The current Mini 3 Pro model features advanced forward, backward and downward vision systems, enabling obstacle avoidance with tri-directional mode. This will be the first time a lightweight DJI drone will offer comprehensive detection for even safer flights.

It is also expected to offer more videos with a more cinematic feel. The Mini 4 Pro appears to be capable of recording in 4K/100 fps. The leaked box also indicates that the drone's video transmission technology has been significantly improved, increasing its range to 12 kilometers. This is achieved by using a regular battery. The new Mini drone is expected to transmit Full HD videos from a distance of up to 20 kilometers.
Additionally, the tech giant can support natural Waypoint flight on the Mini 4 Pro, allowing the drone to follow a set flight path over and over again. With this clever feature, you can set Points Of Interest (POI) along the flight path, telling the drone where to focus when taking pictures. Parameters such as camera movement, altitude, speed, direction, gimbal tilt, focus, and hover time can also be adjusted for each destination point. This feature is incredibly useful for tasks such as real estate filming, cartographic design, or assessing changes in an area over time.
Right now, these are the four main improvements that differentiate the next-generation Mini drone from the Mini 3 Pro.
