Polish intelligence services have launched an investigation into a hacking attack on the country's railways, according to local media reports.
The Polish Press Agency (PAP) reported that hackers hacked into railway frequencies to disrupt train traffic in the northwest of the country during the night on Saturday.

It is said that a recording of the Russian national anthem and a speech by President Vladimir Putin were also heard.
It is worth noting that Poland is one of the most important hubs for the transfer of weapons from the West to Ukraine. Therefore, the hacking attack on the country's railways cannot be considered accidental.
Saturday's incident occurred when hackers transmitted a signal that caused an emergency disruption to train services near the city of Szczecin. About 20 trains were grounded, but services appeared to be restored within hours.

Stanislaw Zaryn , a senior security official, said Poland's internal security service ABW was investigating the incident. " At the moment we are not ruling anything out ," he told PAP.
“We know that for several months now there have been attempts to destabilize the Polish state,” Mr. Zaryn added. “Such attempts have been made by the Russian Federation in conjunction with Belarus.”
Other similar attacks have prompted some Western countries to call for increased cybersecurity precautions as the conflict in Ukraine. Some experts believe that Russia is carrying out cyberattacks in Ukraine and on Western countries defending Ukraine in an attempt to test hacking tools and cause trouble.
