Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is coming next year with some massive upgrades to the aircraft you can choose and play with. A new trailer shown during the Xbox Games Showcase includes hot air balloon rides, skydiving, aerial firefighting, and more.

It looks like Asobo, the developer of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, is giving pilots every aircraft they've ever dreamed of. You can fly a hospital plane, join a mountain rescue team, or act as a search and rescue team.
There is even the option to pilot helicopters for cargo transport, industrial cargo planes and remote cargo operations. Asobo also showcased VIP charter services, paragliding, airfields and hot air balloon trips.
Microsoft's flight simulator was released in 2020 and has been updated regularly since then with free revisions to add new points of interest and more accurate city mapping. It has also had a number of paid DLC, adding new planes or new activities like airports. There's no word on how MSFS2024 might further overhaul the world.

The existing version of Microsoft Flight Simulator will also get a Dune on November 3rd, featuring one of the film's spaceships. The next generation of Microsoft's legendary flight simulator, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, will be available on Xbox Series S /X and PC in 2024.
