It seems that Microsoft has decided to add native support in Windows 11 for controlling RGB lighting on your peripherals. This means that after this upgrade you will no longer need to download applications for each device, which can be problematic. Especially if the devices are from different vendors, you are forced to install a different application for each peripheral.

RGB lighting control is still in development as a hidden feature in Windows Insider build 25295.
Albacore was the one who discovered the feature and decided to share some screenshots showing off the capabilities. He was found on Twitter saying, "New device lighting settings have made their appearance in build 25295. Is this the beginning of the end for low-quality RGB applications for gaming gear? The specs for this are from 2018 and reports of this feature have been heard for years."

To enable this feature you can use ViVe tool and run the following commands:
vivetool /enable /id:35262205 vivetool /enable /id:41355275When enabled with the ViVe tool, a new “ambient lighting controls” setting will appear under Settings> Personalization>Lighting. It will list all the RGB devices that are connected and you can control them as shown below.

You can tap a device to control the lighting, lighting effect, effect speed, and color. The lighting effect has options for a single color, flashing, rainbow, or reverse rainbow. Finally, you can change the color of each device to match your Windows system tone.

Microsoft has not yet officially announced anything about this feature, which means it is uncertain whether it will eventually make it to the final production stage for the software release.
However, it seems to be so far into the development cycle that it is very likely that we will see it in one of the future updates.
