It's been over a year since Microsoft and Ubisoft announced their partnership to bring the Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox consoles. Let's take a look at where the partnership stands.

Ubisoft+ is similar to EA Play and Xbox Game Pass in that it offers a library of content for a relatively low monthly fee. For $15 a month, you get access to over a hundred Ubisoft titles on PC, in addition to a handful of games that can be played via the cloud. Ubisoft+ is more like Xbox Game Pass in that you can access brand new Ubisoft titles on PC right away.

When Ubisoft+ finally comes to Xbox, it's unclear whether or not it will offer the same breadth of content it offers on PC, or whether it will offer a smaller library of titles like Ubisoft's Classics tier on PlayStation. Over the weekend, more evidence that the Ubisoft+ subscription could be coming to Xbox soon.
Recently, the Xbox OS was updated with iconography to support Ubisoft+ games. Typically, games on Xbox often denote some of features with white icons placed on a transparent gradient, in the lower left corner of the thumbnails.
The Ubisoft+ icons were added to the Xbox operating system sometime last month or so and represent another step towards the full implementation of the service on Xbox.

Indeed, True Achievements recently noticed through Xbox API access that a number of Ubisoft games had been marked with "Ubisoft+", essentially giving us a glimpse at the first batch of titles set to be released on the service.
