Former President Donald Trump 's blog - a page he created to share his views after his departure from major social media companies - has been removed from the internet and will not be restored .
The page “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” was removed from Trump’s website after a month of operation.
“He won’t be back,” senior Trump adviser Jason Miller.
“It was just ancillary to the broader efforts that we are doing and working on,” he said. However, he did not provide further details about those “efforts.”

Miller was asked if the blog shutdown means Trump will join “another social media platform.” Miller replied: “Actually, yes. Stay tuned!”
Facebook and Twitter banned Trump from posting on their platforms after his supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6. Trump, after the November 3 election, repeatedly claimed on social media that the election result was due to fraud .

Donald Trump and his allies have accused social media platforms of political bias and censorship of conservatives. After his removal from the platforms, it was said that the former President would create his own platform.
However, his blog, launched last month and initially billed as a new “communications platform,” wasn’t enough to compete with the biggest social media companies.
Miller then clarified that the “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” blog was “an excellent resource” for finding Trump’s statements, “but this is not a new social media platform.”
Before his ban from social media, Trump had millions of followers on Twitter and Facebook.

His blog , however, did not do so well and failed to attract many users. This is probably why it was so short-lived.
