Following a Siri leak, Apple has officially announced that on Tuesday, April 20 , a special “Spring Loaded” event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater, on the Apple Park campus, in California.

The event will be digital due to the ongoing public health crisis.
The company is said to be unveiling some of its new products for 2021 at this event. Updated iPad Pro models, a new low-cost iPad, a new iPad mini, refreshed iMacs, and the long-awaited AirTags are some of the products Apple may unveil at the “Spring Loaded” event.

Given that we've heard a lot about the iPad and its improved specs, we can assume that iPads will be a major topic of discussion at the event. Rumors have it that Apple is working on a new high-end 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which will feature a mini-LED display and a 5G chip, while there's also been talk of an 11-inch model. These iPads are expected to feature Thunderbolt, improved camera systems, and a new A14X chip, which is as fast as the M1 chip in the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.

The company is also rumored to be preparing an “iPad mini Pro” with an 8.7-inch display and no Touch ID Home button. It’s also possible that a new low-cost iPad with a 10.2-inch display could be introduced.

Apple is also planning a refreshed iMac, with a new design that features thinner bezels, similar to the Pro Display XDR, with Apple's own silicon chip and a GPU, also designed by the company. Whether it will be unveiled at next week's "Spring Loaded" event or later is unknown.

We're still waiting for theAirTags, Tile-like Bluetooth tracking tags that can be attached to any object, allowing that object to be tracked directly from the Find My app. Last week, the company expanded its Find My network to include third-party devices, so perhaps the long-awaited AirTags will be unveiled at this event.

There's also a Apple TV that runs on an upgraded processor and a new Apple TV remote, but it's unclear whether that will be announced now or later.
Apple plans to live stream the “Spring Loaded” event on its website and the Apple TV app on Tuesday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
