On August 30, Cyble Inc claimed that Paytm Mall was hacked by a hacking group known as 'John Wick'.

Now, Paytm is demanding that Cyble stop making any more false claims on the matter.
Recently, the "John Wick" group managed to hack Narendra Modi's Twitter account and clarified that it had not hacked "Paytm Mall."
A week after Cyble publicly announced that its platform Paytm Mall had allegedly suffered a massive data breach, the company has sent a legal notice to Cyble.
Paytm has given Cyble a week to respond to its demands. In case of non-compliance, the e-commerce company has said that it will take legal action and initiate civil and criminal proceedings against the cybersecurity company.
“The most surprising fact is that, given that your organization is active in providing services in this area, namely cyber threats ,risks and security, we expected more reasonable, professional and ethical standards from your side,” Paytm told Cyble.
"According to the messages passed on to us by the source, the perpetrator claimed that the hack happened because of someone inside Paytm Mall. The claims, however, are not verified, but are possible.".
Apart from this, Cyble also mentioned in its blog that the grey hat hacker had demanded a ransom of 10 Ethereum (ETH), equivalent to $4,000 from Paytm, in order not to leak the data he stole from the platform.
In its legal notice, Paytm asked Cyble to immediately stop making any false allegations on the matter and issue a public statement stating that the contents of its August 30 blog post are incorrect.
