Microsoft has decided to postpone the end of support for Windows 10 version 1709/1809 as well as older software and services because it recognizes that most users and organizations are currently facing other challenges related to the coronavirus. So in an effort to reduce the additional stress that may be associated with the transition to newer systems, it has decided to change the dates on which support for older versions ended.
Most organizations have told employees to work from home, so there is minimal manpower and time to adequately prepare for the transition to new software, services , and operating systems.

Microsoft, therefore, decided to delay the end of support until the coronavirus.
“Microsoft is deeply connected to customers around the world who are impacted by the current public health situation. As a member of the global community, we want to help reduce the stress our customers are experiencing at this time. To that end, we have delayed the planned end of support and servicing for the following products to help people and organizations focus on maintaining business continuity and operations,” Microsoft said.
Below are the products that will continue to be supported for a period of time. The original end of support date and the new date are also listed. For products that have additional information about this delay, there is a link (in the product name).
