Windows 10: Temporary fix for critical vulnerability from… third parties

The KB4532693 update , released by Microsoft a few days ago, turned out to be “problematic.” Many users complained about an error that was responsible for deleting their files. Until a permanent solution for the various problems is released, many businesses running versions 1903 and 1909 of Windows 10 will not have security fixes .

What is worrying is that some targeted attacksthat exploit this vulnerability. These attacks have alarmed companies. Attackers can execute commands on a vulnerable systemwhen the user visits a specially crafted site.

The workaround also included a note telling users that there were possible "side effects" for functions that use the jscript.dll file. There may also be problems with printing.

Then, Patch Tuesday, with the KB4532693 update, which was supposed to provide a permanent solution to the Windows 10 security issue. However, as it turned out, even more problems arose. As we mentioned above, many complained about their files being deleted. Although files can be recovered, this whole process has been very frustrating for Windows 10 users.
