Mirror fitness: A personal training piece of fitness equipment that is part full-length mirror and part LCD screen. It came out in early 2019 and changed the whole process of home training. It is individual home training but without a personal trainer.
So far, the main features of Mirror are live broadcasts of fitness classes, specifically cardio, kickboxing, pilates, bare, dynamic classes, and many more. Also, although one can find fitness videos on YouTube, Mirror has much better features as it does not contain ads to "cut" the process in the middle.

The device's built-in microphone, speaker, and video camera allow your trainer to see what you're doing and vice versa. Mirror trainers get real-time feedback, can correct your moves, and encourage you, just like a regular personal trainer at the gym.
Mirror matches its clients with a trainer based on the client’s preferred workout type, training style, session length and schedule. Mirror trainers then customize each class based on their clients’ goals, workout preferences and fitness level. During a session, members will see their trainer on screen, their own form and biometric data, such as heart rate.
Unlike live and on-demand classes, Mirror classes are much less structured. Clients have the option to change the class and request different exercises and activities if they don't enjoy the session's schedule.

At just $40 per 30-minute session, Mirror Fitness's one-on-one training platform is actually less expensive than in-person training at the gym, where prices can run as high as $100 per half hour. Of course, when you add in Mirror's $1,495 setup fee and $39 monthly fee, it's still a pretty hefty sum for a workout.
One positive thing about Mirror Fitness, however, is that additional members of the household can work out with a personal trainer at no additional cost. At a gym, adding one or more participants to your sessions costs you extra, often up to $50 per person per session. Of course, the cost of individual and group training varies depending on your location and the gym, but Mirror's offer is a bonus.

Why personal training? Mirror fitness is a way to encourage even the busiest people to commit to a fitness program.
“We are an experienced fitness resource and provide access to the best personal trainers to help you, no matter where you live or how busy your schedule is,” said Brynn Putnam, founder and CEO of Mirror, in a press release.
Mirror's one-on-one training also offers opportunities for professional personal trainers to grow their businesses – they can reach more clients without the constraints of location or time.
