Artificial intelligence has begun to become a key component of new Internet Of Things devices, and not only. It is this “detail” that gives modern creations a more distinctive function aimed at improving the human experience. The improvement of the experience now seems to come to more personal moments of the user since AI is utilized by Autoblow AI, a device that claims to use artificial intelligence to offer users the “perfect oral sex”.
The Autoblow launched in 2008 as the first branded product to mechanically simulate oral sex. Creator Brian Sloan continued to evolve the Autoblow 2 in 2014, with additional hardware revisions, the 2+ in 2016, and the 2+ XT in 2017.
The fourth-generation Autoblow AI has received over half a million dollars in funding, and now the first units have officially been released.
Users will adjust the pace of the action on the screen by dragging the mouse up and down on a digital phallus.
The hardware housing the AI is a pear-shaped housing that extends around the main axis and houses the control mechanisms. It is also quite large, measuring approximately 8.2in x 7in x 3in, resembling a games console more than a sex toy.
Along its narrower edge, you'll find four buttons: Pause, Volume Up, Volume Down, and a Play/Skip button. The latter option lets you start the machine and cycle through the 10 different modes. Below that is a volume bar that indicates both the setting you're using and the volume, and below that is a bulky on-off slider.
It's worth noting that the development of high-tech remains in its early stages. Through a combination of lack of resources, prejudices, and the limits of technology, these machines remain stagnant. Beyond that, these devices need to be improved to provide us with the sensations we want.
Autoblow creator Sloan acknowledges the simplistic nature of most of these games and says we're "five to seven years" away from having a device that's tailored to our individual needs. In other words, using heart rate data could be used to judge our pleasure levels and either prolong or speed up the session. That upgrade will take time to become a reality.
