Airbus , the world's second-largest airline, has been the victim of multiple cyberattacks in recent months. Attackers have exploited the systems of suppliers and other partners of the company. Security experts believe the attacks are coming from hacking groups in China .
Earlier this year (January 2019), the company announced that it had fallen victim to a cyberattack. The airline's systems were breached by hackers , resulting in the leakage of customer and employee data.
Last year, prosecutors US charged Chinese intelligence officers and hacking groups with stealing information about a jet engine. The engine was made by companies that supply Airbus as well as rival Boeing. The AFP news agency investigated. According to it, the attacks, which have taken place in recent months and have affected Airbus, have exploited various partners of the airline, including French technology company Expleo, engine manufacturer Rolls Royce and two Airbus external partners, based in France.

According to the AFP news agency, Airbus has experienced four major cyberattacks in the past year . Some attacks reportedly aimed to steal information related to Airbus' A400M military aircraft and A350 aircraft
The AFP report did not say whether the attacks caused data leaks or affected other Airbus businesses. There is no firm information about the origin of the attacks, but many security experts say the attack methods closely resemble those used by Chinese services .
