You're probably familiar with Chrome's Autofill feature. When you start typing a URL in Chrome's address bar, Google's browser will show you a list of addresses that match what you're typing.
The more you type, the more accurate Chrome's suggestions become.
But what if Chrome keeps suggesting an address that's not relevant? For example, what if you accidentally typed an address and hit enter? Or you're using a shared computer and don't want other users to find out what pages you're browsing.
Autofill can be a very useful tool, but it also poses a serious privacy risk. Clearly, you should delete the entry.
But how can you remove a single URL from Chrome's autofill suggestions? It's very simple.

Open Chrome and start typing a URL until the entry you want to delete appears.
Use the down arrow to highlight the entry you want to delete and press the Shift+Delete keys together.
The entry will disappear from your browser's Autofill suggestions.
Of course, if there are many entries you want to delete, you may need to resort to more radical solutions, such as deleting all of your browser's history and browsing data.
To delete Chrome's browsing data, open the menu (three vertical dots) Settings – Advanced – Privacy and Safety – Clear browsing data. Select all the checkboxes and click Clear data to complete the process.
