app Walkie-Talkie 's Smart Watch Apple users iPhone to listen in on the conversations of watch users.

The Walkie-Talkie app was designed to allow two people to communicate via short audio conversations. Due to a software, an iPhone user could listen to conversations taking place via the Walkie-Talkie app without the consent of the smartwatch owner.
Apple has since patched the flaw and apologized to users for the inconvenience. The company also claims that no hackers have been able to exploit the vulnerability. Of course, we can never be sure of that.

Earlier this year, Apple discovered another bug in its FaceTime app that allowed some callers to activate the microphone of another iPhone. The company then chose to fix the vulnerability through a software patch.
Additionally, Zoom recently revealed that a bug in its software allowed hackers to use users' cameras without permission. As the BBC reports, security researcher Jonathan Leitschuh discovered a bug that allowed third parties to start a video conference and gain access to a device's camera.
