Robots are taking over more and more jobs

Last Wednesday, economists from Oxford Economics conducted a study, the results of which showed that robots could take more than 20 million jobs by 2030. The research also showed that 14 million robots could be used in the next 11 years in China alone.

Robots

Obviously, this is a consequence of the level of automation that has occurred in the work sector and is proven by the fact that the population of robots has increased spectacularly in the last 20 years. Of course, their increase is useful for productivity and economic development, but it certainly hides many risks.

Let's not forget that automation resulting from the use of robots reduces jobs, often from people with lower economic backgrounds. It thus contributes to economic inequality. It has been predicted that by 2030, approximately 1.5 million jobs in the United States of America will be taken over by robots, in China more than 11 million and in the European Union approximately 2 million.

For the United States, Oregon is the most disadvantaged, followed by Texas, Louisiana and Indiana. In Europe, the most vulnerable areas are Chemnitz, Thüringen, Oberfranken in Germany and the Midlands in England.

Robots

However, according to the report , the pace of automation growth should not be slowed down . On the contrary, ways to better use robots must be found. This is why the researchers suggested that governments encourage companies and workers with financial benefits and participate in local programs for their retraining.

Finally, experts suggest that employees study the subject of their work in such a way that they themselves understand what could be assigned to robots to optimize the result.
