If you have some money saved up, you can buy a new car or if you prefer, the new Orion X2 from 8Pack!
We don't know if it's the best gaming PC you can buy, but it's certainly one of the most expensive. 8Pack calls the Orion X2 a "gaming monster" and not just a system for multitasking, although that's certainly possible.
It's actually two computers in one, costing as much as a car. Here are the specifications of the primary system:
- Intel Core i9-7890XE (18 cores, 36 threads)
- 128GB DDR4-3200 RAM
- Graphics card 2 x Nvidia Titan RTX
- 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSD (primary)
- 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSD (secondary)
- 14TB Iron Wolf NAS HDD (bulk)
- 2000W power supply
- Windows 10 ProfessionalI
Regarding the secondary system, the specifications are as follows:
- Intel Core i9-9700K
- 16GB DDR4-4000 RAM
- Titan RTX graphics card
- 2 x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSD in RAID 0 (primary)
- 14TB Iron Wolf Pro NAS HDD (bulk)
- Windows 10 Professional
“The Orion X2 is not only an amazing workstation system, but also incorporates an additional ITX system, which is ideal for multi-tasking or 4K gaming without affecting the performance of the primary system. This dual system configuration is housed in a variant of the Phanteks Elite Full Tower, upgraded to incorporate the many modifications required for the Orion X2’s hardware,” says 8Pack.
Even the water cooling is polished. The Orion X2 features a triple water cooling loop with custom acrylic flow plates, seven reservoirs, three pumps, and 5 meters of hard tubing to flow the 8 liters of coolant. Tesla has only two pumps and one reservoir. The Orion X2 wins.
So if you're looking for a system like this, this is your chance. For the record, the Tesla Model 3 isn't available in the UK yet. The Orion X2 will be priced at $43,000.
