The new Moto G7 series includes four new models that are expected to launch in India soon. Over the past few years, Motorola has managed to release various versions of the Moto G7 device, but today it is not as popular as it once was. The new 7th generation or Moto G7 is now official, with the company announcing 4 variants of the phone, including the G7 Plus, G7 Power, G7 Play and the G7 itself.
The most powerful is the G7 Plus, which has a 6.2-inch LCD display (2270×1080 pixels). It looks like a camera as it has a dual camera on the back. The main camera is optimized for low-light photography, with optical image stabilization for photos and digital stabilization for videos. The secondary camera helps with depth shooting. On the front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie camera with portrait mode and group selfie. The camera also has AI features, such as Smart Composition and Auto-Smile capture.
It also features a Snapdragon 636 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable via microSD cards up to 512GB). It runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie. The phone has a 3000mAh battery and 27W TurboPower charging, which promises 12 hours of use with just 15 minutes of charging, while it is compatible with Quick Charge 4.0 or USB PD 3.0 chargers.
Next up is the Moto G7, which looks a lot like the G7 Plus. They share the same hardware, including a 6.2-inch display and a 3,000mAh battery. As for the camera, it has a 12-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Just like the G7 Plus, it can shoot 4K video at 30fps as well as 1080p at 30/60fps, and comes with EIS and hyperlapse for video. On the front, the device has an 8-megapixel sensor. It has a Snapdragon 632 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and the standard 15W TurboPower charging feature, which offers 9 hours of battery life in 15 minutes.
If you want long battery life, then Motorola has the G7 Power. This device has a 5,000mAh battery, which is said to allow for 60 hours of use on a single charge. Motorola uses the old 15W TurboPower charger and does not use the faster 27W charging. The rest of the specifications are almost the same as the G7, including the Snapdragon 632 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Even the 6.2-inch display is the same, but it has a larger notch and a lower resolution (1520x720 pixels). There is a 12-megapixel camera on the back, while the front has an 8-megapixel camera.
The most affordable is the Moto G7 Play with a 5.7-inch 720p+ display, the same Snapdragon 632 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. Think of it as a replacement for the Moto E. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. It also has the same 3,000mAh battery, but only supports 5W chargers.
Although the phones haven't been launched in India yet, global pricing has been announced. The G7 Plus is priced at €300, the G7 at €250, the G7 Power at €210, and the G7 Play at €150.
