Sony Sony Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra duo have already been unveiled along with their specifications, and the Xperia L3 is also very close. The three smartphones are expected to be unveiled at an event on February 25, 2019. We expect the top-of-the-line Xperia XZ4 to be unveiled at the same time.
The Bluetooth certification, which is rumored to have been received by the Sony Xperia XA3, Xperia XA3 Ultra, and Xperia L3, has been spotted by Nashville Chatter. Details about the Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra first surfaced in October, revealing some of their key specifications as well as an expected release date. The Xperia XA3 will be equipped with a 5.9-inch (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, while it will have 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The upcoming smartphone will run on Android Pie while connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, and a USB Type-C port.
The Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra is expected to feature a larger 6.5-inch Full HD (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, however details regarding the memory configuration and processor power are not yet known. It appears that both the Xperia XA3 and the Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra will be equipped with a horizontally aligned dual rear camera setup and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As for the Sony Xperia L3, its specifications show that it will feature a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, while it will feature a 3,400mAh battery. The Sony Xperia L3 will feature a dual rear camera system consisting of a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. There will also be a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. The three smartphones were certified in Russia in December last year.
A report that surfaced earlier this month claimed that Sony could unveil the three phones at CES 2019, which didn't happen. However, another report that surfaced just a few days ago revealed that the Sony Xperia XA3, Xperia XA3 Ultra, and Xperia L3 will likely be unveiled on February 25, 2019, at an event scheduled to begin at 8:15 AM CET (12:45 PM IST) and take place in Barcelona. As previously reported, the top-of-the-line Xperia XZ4 is also expected to be unveiled alongside the three phones next month.
