Xiaomi Mi Play has officially launched in China! The new smartphone is the first model in Play series. Compared to previous Xiaomi phones, the new Mi Play has a waterdrop-style display and a gradient finish on the back. In addition, there is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC processor and a dual camera system. In order to give users an out of the box way to surf the internet with the Xiaomi Mi Play, the Chinese company is offering 10 GB of free data per month for a whole year!

The Xiaomi Mi Play price in China has been set at CNY 1,099 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model. The smartphone is available in black, dream blue, and twilight gold with a gradient finish. Xiaomi's offline store in China has already started sales from yesterday at 10 am. It should be noted that the handset will come with a 10 GB per month plan for 12 months.

The dual-SIM Xiaomi Mi Play runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 10 and features a 5.84-inch full, HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, as mentioned, the processor is octa-core, with IMG GE8320 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
