The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT was announced on Tuesday and is the first phone in the world to offer up to 12GB of RAM. Another advantage is that it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, a feature that puts it first in the market.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT price in China has been set at CNY 2,698 for the 6GB RAM/128GB model, while the 8GB RAM/12GB model is set at CNY 2,998 and the 8GB RAM/256GB model is set at CNY 3,398. The new model will go on pre-sale in China from January 15, 2019, while sales will start from January 24. The smartphone will be available in black with a fibre finish on top. Regarding its design, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT runs ZUI 10.0, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. Its features include a 6.39-inch FULL HD display, with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. However, the USP of the Z5 Pro GT will be the Snapdragon 855 SoC, which is based on the 7nm process to perform excellently.
The Snapdragon 855 SoC on the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options. In terms of optics, the new model has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and dual-tone LED flash along with a 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor with f/1.8 aperture.
Of course, the dual camera setup could not be missing, which contains a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 8-megapixel IR sensor for activating the Face Unlock feature. The sliding structure uses six parallel slides and smart artificial intelligence antennas. The antennas are intelligently offered to recognize the position of the user's hand for the purpose of adjusting the signal.
In general, Lenovo offers 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. The Z5Pro GT model includes a variety of connectivity options, such as 4G LITE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.
