Cloudflare Spectrum: for ultimate online protection

Cloudflare Spectrum: Cloudflare has been protecting websites for eight years. It appears the company is expanding its anti-DDoS security to include more services, such as gaming security, email server services, and IoT devices.
The new project is called Spectrum , and it works much the same way Cloudflare's other products do. It acts as a proxy for internet traffic through data centers that distribute traffic around the world.Cloudflare Spectrum
Cloudflare's Spectrum software automatically routes users to the closest geographically located data center to deliver better speeds. In doing so, it automatically rejects any malicious traffic or traffic it believes is malicious. This protects against DDoS attacks, ensuring that websites don't go down so easily.
With Cloudflare Spectrum, that protection extends beyond websites. The new service will work with almost anything you connect to the Internet.
In addition to protecting against DDoS attacks and providing faster connections, Cloudflare says Spectrum will extend the security of some older operating systems and software that don't support transport-level encryption. Spectrum will be able to protect such systems without introducing compatibility issues.
In a statement, Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince said:

“Cloudflare has always been focused on improving the Internet experience for users around the world, but until now we’ve only protected and accelerated Web protocols. Spectrum is a huge step towards building a better Internet, as we bring the power of Cloudflare to protocols beyond the Web.”

Spectrum will initially be available only to the company's largest customers. For everyone else, be patient, or make sure to "grow up."
